04Questions, answered

Nutrition FAQ

It depends. Usually consults are more frequent (every 2–4 weeks) at the start, and reduce in frequency as you become more independent and comfortable with yourself and your nutrition.
The more information we have about you and your health, the better. If that means bringing blood results or other tests you feel may help, please do.
Initial consultations last one hour, with follow-ups usually 30 minutes. We work with you to create a plan that genuinely suits your life, nutrition is highly individual, and often involves a mix of learning, trial, error and reflection. After each session you'll receive a follow-up email summarising the key points, with specific nutrition guidance and psychological practices to support long-term change.
Usually 30–70% of the session fee can be claimed through private health insurance, because our dietitians are CORU-registered. Check your individual policy for the exact amount.
